Hello:

Thought some here might be interested in seeing a recent find. This is a Soundscraftsmen PE2217 preamp/equalizer. It was a roadside find by a friend who offered it to me because "[I'm] interested in stereo equipment". :-)

Aside from some missing slider knobs, it's in good shape and works fine.

Soundscraftsmen devotees will note that I put the WRONG knobs on the central main level sliders :-)

Anyone got any spare knobs for one of these?

Actually, I really only thought folks might be interested in seeing the guts. It's pretty nicely done inside...
 
Soundcraftsmen really made some very, very nice gear.
Early 90s were bought by Mitek (make MTX gear, etc.) Don't know if they would have a source of end pieces.
 
It's actually a pretty good sounding preamp; despite having all those tone controls :-)

Haven't tried the phono preamp, though, come to think of it.
