I have a millon fans around here. I would donate them if you intend on doing a really cool project with them. Undervolt them to 7v and you get them quiet ;)

Lots of 92mm, 80mm, and a couple 120mm. The larger you go - the lower noise per CFM.

Yeah, I found new wallwarts at Ocean State Job Lot, with switchable ability, so the speed of the fan/juice sent can be controlled. Under $5 each. Best part is the switchability.

I'll keep an eye out at the thrifts, too.
