Source for GOOD MX110Z Schematic?

I am slowly going through my MX110Z replacing out of spec components and tidying up work that was performed prior to my ownership. I would really like to have the latest full size revision of the MX110Z schematic (starting with serial number 880Z0), either in the form of an original factory schematic or service manual (without any holes punched in them), or a high quality .pdf of the same.

There are several copies of manuals and schematics for the MX110Z available for download on the interwebs, but they are all poor quality scans. Some have info missing where the original folded drawing was divided to fit onto 8-1/2 x 11 sheets, or are the wrong revision, or are just downright illegible. I like to use .pdf copies of schematics and mark them up in Adobe with notes and markups while I'm working. A couple of the downloaded versions I have are password protected and won't allow me to add notes/markups.

I've been perusing the auction sites and while there are a couple of originals listed, I cannot get any of the sellers to tell me what version of the schematics they are. I did purchase what I thought was an original factory schematic only to find that it was a copy. While the print is of good quality, it's missing some print where the drawing was divided to fit onto 8-1/2 x 11 sheets.

Can anyone help me?

Hello

What out of specs components are you talking about ? Do you have the knowledge to do that ?
You said that many schematics are available for download but are all in poor scan condition but who will accept to pay 80,00 usd for and original and pay for high quality scan in 600 dpi like I did ??
All my MCINTOSH services manuals or schematic are 600 dpi scanned and cost me a real fortune and I don't think that many specialists made the same choice like I did since 45 years .

Some repairs were made while in possession of the previous owner and the components and their installation are not up to the original quality. I am also having some noise issues and need to replace some ceramic caps as per McIntosh Service Bulletin 109.

I have over 50 years of experience with electronics both professionally and as a hobbyist. I certainly do not possess the level of expertise that some of you on this forum have, but I am quite comfortable working on equipment.

I am not balking at the cost of a good schematic or service manual, just the apparent lack of availability. What I have found are either very poor copies, or damaged originals with binding holes punched in them which inevitably obscures some of the print/text. I'd really like to have the large original factory McIntosh schematic that was folded up in the back of the manuals.

I can get by with what I have, but I like having good quality documentation. It's like having good quality tools: Yes, a hardware store variety soldering iron will likely get the job done, but it's a much more pleasant experience to use a professional Weller, Hakko, or *insert your favorite brand here* soldering station.

I just want to find an original factory schematic in nice condition.

Hello David D

Even with my 45 years of experience working on many MCINTOSH I can not certify that my high definition scanned MX110Z schematic will " match " with your MX110Z

Difficult to say without the unit in front of me

Can you email me a simple message and I will answer you
