Here's my new addition to the stereo. I visited with Albert at Space Tech for an afternoon auditioning a variety of amplifiers, preamps, dacs, ect. He's a really nice guy and loves to barter :D I decided to go with the balanced preamp as my dac has balanced outputs.

Not sure how he designs his preamps to use 6SL7's and 6SN7's to be swapped without voltage adjustment, but it sure sounds great. Uses any 6 volt output tube as a buffer ie: 6V6, KT66's ect. Lots of rollin' options here.

Hi LPD,
I'm new here and just came across your thread. I just bought Alberts top end phono stage. He sure makes great stuff, and he does like to barter!

It's actually a bit overkill for my system but I'll be getting some of his speakers and an integrated amp as soon as I can scrape the $ together.
