Speaker feedback(?) - Please make it stop!

I'm having an issue with my speakers. I'm getting this persistent ticking sound, even when my turntable is off. I've tried moving the speakers away from my receiver, but it's still there. It's driving me crazy.

Sounds like possible RFI, similar to when I leave my cell phone or tablet too close to my amp.

This got me thinking about the WiFi router. I moved it away and it stopped. So, consider this solved!

I experienced this today. I was re-foaming an LE14H-1 using my cell for tones and a chip amp (class D) for amplification. I got the phone too close to the amp and the clicking started.

Yep the giveaway is usually a consistently repeating regular sound.

I once put my iphone on top of my Topping D30 DAC and the interference was so strong the DAC shut down.

Rebooted and it was OK, but yea, some gear is more susceptible than other gear.....
