The AK'er who used to sell me surrounds back when I did those things is not doing it anymore. I need a source for surrounds (not complete kits). Any suggestions? I hear that George W is good but I can't find an AKer by that name. Might be that I don't understand the system too. Suggestions on how to find George or someone good within AK would be appreciated.

I always get my surrounds from Audiodogs in Canada. They have always had the proper part...no generics. They're on eBay.
 
+1 for Rick Cobb. He had the correct surrounds for my JBL L112 woofers. JBL woofers can vary for whats required, even the same model of woofer. I have ordered many others from him for many different brands and they were all perfect fit. I will use a different glue then what he supplies on poly cones. I use a rubber cement for those.
 
Rick Cobb +1. These days, I get most of my surrounds from Springfield Speaker Repair, as they're local.
 
+1 for Mr Cobb, here. He always seems to have what I need in stock. I give him the cone diameter and the basket diameter dimensions to be sure.

I have been unable to find any Rick Cobb or Looneytoon2001 in eBay or AK. I did find the ones I wanted from Audiodogs but I would really like to find Rick Cobb. Does anyone have any better information about how to contact him or weather he is still selling? I would surely appreciate it.
 
I've always used Rick Cobb but got lazy and ordered surrounds for my Genesis 20s from eBay since that popped up in a Google search. I bought them from geoaliwil . The fit wasn't quite right. I was able to use them but it was harder than with all the refoams I've done before using Rick's surrounds.
 
Rick Cobb or Tom over at myaudioaddictions. Tom has some more of the rare and unusual surrounds, like those for 4" Infinity midranges or 8" AR woofers with the folded and doped paper cones.
