Speaker frequency plot fall off?

I have some new to me old 15" Tannoy speakers I have been working on.

I played a HI fi news test track (20hz-20k) and recorded it with a spectroid app on my phone. Currently the crossover caps are the original film caps. I installed new high frequency drivers/diaphram since the old ones were bad.
Was wondering if this graph looked normal or not. Lot of fall off after 1k.

Did you happen to measure before the fix? Are the new drivers producing sound? Are you measuring just one speaker? Do you have any other speakers you could try the test on, for comparison? (I've not run that particular test.)

I see that app has a lot of positive reviews, but many say it's no good. In fact, many say it can't record. Personally, I don't see how the mic in a cell phone can accurately analyze music frequencies.

Are the new high frequency drivers/diaphram genuine Tannoy parts?

I don't know anything about phone mics (heard some are quite flat), but I think it's a premature to conclude that your speaker is doing that. Twenty bucks gets you a trustable answer at PE:

That's a good mic, I got the one with headphone out. Comes with a link to download a calibration file, but have not found an app that will let me use it on my iPad. Works pretty good as a go-no go RTA.

I did not measure before with the other speakers. I reused the cabinet for the newer ones so can't easily hook them back. I did have a pair of Advents in the closet. I hooked them up and got pretty much the same plot except more falloff.

Yes genuine Tannoy replacements. Agree not most accurate method but was trying g to do something inexpensive.

I tried some individual tones at 300Hz , 1k and 3150 and the app was withing 1-3 Hz of the test tone
