Speaker help needed. Choices!

Hi, I have a few speakers to choose from and some to get rid of once I decide which to keep. I am running a couple Klipsch KG4's which I'll be keeping I think.

Here are the choices, for other speakers that I presently own.

Infinity RS1. Bookshelf.
Mission Electronic 700 series Leading Edge. Bookshelf
Ambiance by Henry Kloss. Bookshelf.
Advent Bookshelf 1.
KLH Model 38.

Any opinions on which speakers I should keep? I am currently three pairs of speakers. The KLH, Klipsh and Mission 700 series. I use A NAD 7225PE and an Audiosource Model Amp Two, to power them. Thank you!

Mission 700 or Advent 1 whichever you prefer.
BTW, I prefer 700's as Advent's tweeter is too bright for me.
 
If you own them why wouldn't you listen to them and keep the ones you like best?
If is a very subjective area and only you have the correct answer.
I could throw specifications and graphs at you all day but you listen to specifications and graphs, so get to work and let us know!

This is just about the best answer I've seen to a question about items the poster owns.

I can't see where it matters what others like. After all, one should be able to trust their own taste in what they like, no?
 
Yes but the forum would be pretty bland if answer to every 'which speaker is better or to keep' question is 'Listen yourself and decide'.
The whole point of asking here is to get opinion of others who have listened to them and help push one or the other way.
Of course if someone really hates a speaker, what everyone says doesn't matter but when it's at the same level, it helps.

If someone has asked a question, I think it's a very bad answer to say you listen and decide.
What's the point of asking here then? What's the point of forum? You think OP never heard the speakers he has?

Also, posts from users who are at least familiar with some of the speakers in question is helpful to OP than anyone who is finger happy.

Well, lemme know when it gets to "which girl should I marry?" Include pictures, preferably nekked.

If one has the speakers already, one could easily listen and decide for themselves and decide for themselves what they like. We can't tell what someone else likes.

Or, better yet, simply jettison the ones one doesn't like.

Just because you compared speakers to a human being makes it pointless to say anything else.
Let's not mess the thread and wait for comments that actually help OP.
 
Some people can't help being a dick. ^^^^ It's best to just ignore them....

To the OP....

Keep the KG4's for sure.
I would keep the Missions and Infinities if you have a use for them.

Or sell or donate everything but the KG's and shop around for something else.
 
Thanks for the responses so far! I think it should go without saying that I have the ability to decide for myself which sounds best. What I was hoping for was opinions other than my own. :)

So, we're voting on what you are gonna keep and what wil be jettisoned? Our opinions mean more to you than what your own ears and heart tell you?
 
You are not voting. You are giving me your opinion on which speakers YOU would keep. Capice? Now stop ruining my thread.
 
Let me reiterate. You will not be choosing which speakers I will keep, only offering your opinion about which ones you think I should keep. Gheeez..
 
Thanks. I do like the Missions, they seem to have a better clarity in the low-mids than the Infinitys. The Infinitys have nice sizzle in the high end but there seems to be a gap in the spectrum. The missions were reproducing drum hits that I could barely even hear on the Infinitys. I haven't heard much about the Ambiance but they seem well made and quite heavy. I will compare them with the Missions next. suggestions are still welcome!
