Speaker ID help

Hi all, hoping someone can help me identify these speakers. Found them like you see in the pics, nothing to indicate what they are. Got really curious to know who made them because they’re so nice sounding, bassy and full but precise, heavy and solidly constructed. Anyone seen these before?

That would explain the lack of labels.

Reminds me of NHT Super Zero or the Andrew Jones Pioneers, but I haven't owned either one so that's a general impression.

How big are the woofers? 5" maybe?

They look to be Dayton BR-1 speaker kits from Parts Express. Here is a picture of one of mine. Nice sounding kits with decent crossovers.

Thanks all! Not sure why i didn't get email updates on this thread, but missed these replies until now. Just did some googling and came to the conclusion they're the Dayton BR-1s, came back here to post and found that you'd already solved it. They sound super in my bedroom setup - driving them with a Nakamichi SR 4A. Pretty sweet.
