Speaker ID Please?

Yet more speakers I found at Uncle's house, these are unmarked but quite heavy 3-ways.

Sorry for the crap pics, cheap cellphone in a dark basement = ugh...

Nice cabs, appear to be walnut or a nicely done veneer.. The woofers need re-foamed due to foam rot, but they appear in otherwise good shape. The mid-ranges have a shiny metal outer ring, it's not white like the pics shows.

I couldn't measure them at the time, but I'd say 8" woofers in there?

Not a single label or marking on the buggers though, so if I can't ID them, they'll likely go to Goodwill.

The post connectors look ones from the late 70's, but I'm no expert.

Any ideas, folks?

They look pretty generic. If I had to guess I'd say they were a stereo chain's house brand.

Edit: OTOH, the use of real veneer makes me think "maybe not".

IOW, I got nothing.

The phenolic tweets were used by multiple manufacturers. I'm thinking possibly a modded or homemaded ( ) speaker, judging by the back. Otherwise a house music brand (BOMP-BOMP-BOMP! ... BOMP-BOMP-BOMP!).

Just a shot in the dark here , they kinda of look like omega 300's that someone did a little mod on.

The woofer and the tweeter seem like decent quality units with the midrange driver being the potential weakest link. Definitely a solid basis for Frankenspeaker experimentation! (lol)

The driver layout is identical to Ohm model L. What are the dimensions? Pull the drivers out and take some pics.Maybe someone frankened them Like I did.

Yeah, those definitely look like a house brand of some sort, possibly Burstein Applebee's? I've seen some of their models use that same grill. Woofer, tweeter, and posts look to be same as what was used in a pair of 3-way Acoustics III's I have. I'm guessing that those mids aren't original, possibly.

I appreciate the replies, I don't think I'll be back over there for a while to take better pics or measurements, if they are still around that is. Those concrete blocks are 12"x12" if that helps on the scale.

Can't do anything with them myself as they'd need work done to be usable, but just curious if they were worth saving or not.

They seem pretty nice, especially the cabs, but I don't need them. Basically, everything left in his house is just gonna go away soon...either sold for whatever someone would give or taken to a local charity.

Since they are busted, they'd likely go in the trash.

The woofer looks like a Quadraflex to me. ?????
