Hi all, I saw these speakers today and couldn't find the manufacturers name anywhere on 'em. Any help would be appreciated. They do have midrange and tweeter controls on the back. The matching console has a couple of reel to reel decks and TT(Garrard).I was able to hook them up to a 2270 Marantz for a song or two(Ten Years After). They sound great. So, what are they? Cheers

I think those are speakers no one really knows what they are, but I can pretty much bet you there is something nice inside if they haven't been swapped out by a moron...

If I stumbled on those, I'd probably buy them without looking inside.. They are WELL worth the chance. Better than a 50% chance you're gonna at least double your money on them if the people selling them aren't in the know..

[EDIT] OOOoohhhh... after looking a second time I can see the curves inside.. Yep.. Karlson... SOLD! [/EDIT]

Hey Bolly , Thanks. I'm sure you're right. The bass on these speakers was unreal. I haven't got them ,yet. I'm fairly sure that they haven't messed with. The set hasn't been operated in years. The set also has a Pioneer tuner and a Teac power amp in it. Everything looks really late 50's , early 60's. (New Christy Minstrels tape inside) I'll try to get some more pictures soon. I think my next question will have to be posted in Dollars and Cents. Thanks for your help!
