Speaker Identification?

Compgeke

Geek
I've got 2 old Fisher speakers that had the tag ripped off the back so I don't know anything about them. They are about 3 feet tall and while repairing them I managed to learned that they are 8Ω speakers. There are some other numbers also on the speakers inside and they are this:
"Fisher SC 80705-1"
"Foster 8550"

So, does anyone know anything that can help me identify these speakers (besides that they sound great and that they are 8Ω speakers)?

Foster (Fostex) made some very good drivers. Perhaps you got one of the early good Fishers. Post a few pics and you will get a lot more help.

Trying to find a camera. It's hard to take pictures with an old 35mm camera with a Macro lens. Hopefully I can find a camera by tomorrow (looking on FreeCycle).

I also learned that they are pretty powerful too. I was blasting Iron Man by Black Sabbath and my brother and neighbor came over and told me to turn it down. Thankfully it's only me home because my moms out of town and my brothers next door having a sleep over with my neighbor who happens to be my friend. I can't wait to sell one of my computers so I can get some speaker wire and some of the screws that have the circle on them so I can make a custom mount and put the 2 cheapo sharp speakers behind be because these Fishers are great.
