Thanks Nightcleaner!, I was going to write a post asking about how close to the front wall the backs of my speakers should be, but the detailed discussion and information in the link answered it. And the good news is they are perfect where they are, with grills of speakers 19" in front of the wall. And like they said, your ears will tell you, and mine did based on the sound stage and imaging.
 
All of that to get to this:

So what do I think? Someone wanted to write an article or was told to for some reason.
 
Yes, but I do not want to move my 60 lb speakers around to try find the perfect/ better spot! And it pointed out bad distances for speakers from front wall, 1-4 meters is where you do not want them, really cool animation 3/4 the way down showing where sound waves get reinforced based on speaker distance from front wall.

A speakers port shouldn't be closer to a wall/floor than it's diameter.

2" port should be at least 2" from the wall/floor.

But that is unlikely to be the best location for the speaker, opinions and experiences may vary greatly.
