Speaker Selector Switch Opinions

Did anyone get this to work? I'm in the same situation where I'd like to share one set of speakers between a tube integrated and a SS receiver. If a knife switch is a good solution, how exactly is it wired? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

My other question is if I use a switch like a Niles SCV-4 and the recommendation is to solder a resistor to the tube posts, which posts am I doing that to? I have 8ohm speakers so the 16 ohm taps are free. Would I use the 16 ohm? Apologies if these are dumb questions.

This is the Douk Audio switch I use It allows you to hook up 2 amplifiers and 2 sets of speakers, and switch between them with a remote. I use it to A/B speakers or receivers when I pick up a new one. It is currently around $140, but I got it for around $100 on sale.
