Speaker suggestions for H/K 930

Hi, guys. Longtime lurker here, emerging to consult with you about some speakers available from a local dealer that I'm looking to pair with my Harman/Kardon 930 receiver.

If it's not too much to ask, would you mind giving me your quick take on what from the following list seems most reasonable and attractive to you, all things regarding condition etc. being equal? Listed prices can be a bit high but aren't necessarily firm.

Technics SB-6000A - $300

Dynaco A-35 - $250 (guessing these'll be top of the heap; would welcome runner-up suggestion as well!)

Sansui SP-7500X - $200

Design Acoustics D-2 - $175

JBL L20t - $150

Ohm FRS-7 - $135

Pinnacle PN5+ - $125

Many thanks for any direction you can provide.

That's an excellent receiver that can drive pretty much any speaker, but I'd go with the Dynaco's just because they sound the best and it's a classic matchup.

My favorite speakers with my HK 930 were the Infinity Crescendos with an EMIT-R tweeter. The combo just sang beautifully.

The Dynaco's are very nice but dont overlook the JBL L20T's.

No matter what anyone suggests, you are the one who has to live with your decision. Listen to everything you can and let your ears decide.

Thanks, guys!

Here's a late-breaking twist: the guy has a pair of large 1973 Advent Utility's for sale (standard, not bullnose). Of the two "fried egg" tweeters, one sez 1973 and the other sez 1975. I'm unsure if there's a steel connector plate on the back of the cabinet, which just says "The Advent Loudspeaker."

I know Advents get a lot of love. While granting that I gotta just try a few sets out and see what works best for my ears, where do you guys think these guys would rank vs. the Dynaco set et al, physical conditions being equal?

Much appreciated...

If I had to choose it would be the Dynaco's.

Rubber surrounds that almost never need replacement and that big soft dome tweeter which is far superior to the fried egg IMHO.

I'd been thinking of the surrounds and that rubber would be a convenience, yeah. Came to mind in reference to the Infinity Crescendos, then I wondered if I was disqualifying good speakers with surround replacement in mind. But all things being equal, the A35s are probably the best bet.
