I have a pair of what I believe are Speakerlab DAS series speakers. I really want them to go to a good home.
They are in fairly good nick for being at least 36 years old. My brother and I bought speakers at one of their sales, maybe a going out of business sale? They originally came with rounded corners as was the rage in the 80's, my brother didn't like the look and bought 1/8" oak plywood. We built molds and used Bondo to square up the corners and then glued the plywood on. They aren't as bad looking as you might think but the exterior obviously isn't original. As you can see, the original grill cloth is intact and actually looks pretty good.
The drivers are original, he gave me the speakers when his oldest was learning to crawl and found the exposed domes on the back fascinating. They are dimpled but otherwise undamaged.
The catch is that I'm unwilling to put any effort into shipping but would be willing to deliver anywhere in a 100ish mile radius of Seatac airport. If you need them shipped, it's up to you to figure that out although I could take them to a UPS or FedEx office, I don't want to box them up.
