Beautiful!
wow, NICE...!! Been waiting to see how these turns out! Well worth the wait!!!
wow verry nice looking.. look bran spanking new.. i personally think the blue is alittle too flashy, id go with a light red or something.. but what a super job! wondering how they sound.. :scratch2:
Very nice.
Hurry up, get them put together!
Then throw on one of the Beatles Re-Mastered CDs, and see if they pass the audition.
The only issue is that I don't own any of them!
You are welcome to come down and listen if you don't make it to the DIY fest.
I'm not on AK for two days and you guys decide to get these going...
Can't wait to see em all zipped up. Remember, they will need some break in time after they are all put back together, so don't form any impressions till they have some hours on them...
I hope I can finish them before the day of the meet so I can play them and have them not sound like **** when I show em off.
All right, Mr. Type A - I seriously doubt these will sound like shite. They will sound excellent and will only get better as they break in.
So explain to me the purpose of the lead - mass?
You may wish for L-Pads as those particular horns can be on the loud side! I have used them on several occasions and always used L-Pads to get the balance just right.
If in fact you can get them balanced then more power to you!. The flexability that the L-Pad had worked great in differant room setting as well. These horns have their critics- but can be made to sound quite good despite being small. I like the 1824M driver with the 8HD lens.
PS GREAT WORK done on them!!!
