Speakers I've foolishly let go (post yours!)

New here, name is Vince, and here are a few of mine:

Boston A40 I, A 40 II; Quatre 8000 (anyone remember those?); Spica TC50, original and revised;
Pyramid Met 7 (idiot!); Realistic Minimus 7, and especially, 77. That's a start.

On deck: KEF 101 Reference teak.

Welcome Vincent-C to AK! Haven't regretted getting rid of any as of yet. Some were cool/collectable but didn't sound good enough to keep. Example: Pioneer HPM 1500.

Sawafuji speakers with ribbon tweeters and isoplanar (or something similar) mids. The seller was asking $40 for them and a Yamaha CA-1010. Unfortunately I wasn't working at the time, and forty bucks was literally all I had. After working and getting a little more spending money I went back, but they were gone.

Pioneer HPM-40s that I purchased new in 78 or 79 (with an SX-680 receiver and PL-400 TT). I realize speaker technology has made great advances since then, but now I have a functioning SX-680 and no matching speakers. HPM-60s would be good too.

I got rid of these beauties and regret it. Not that they were the last word in hi-fidelity but man they were a lot of fun to listen to at volume.
In near near perfect shape too. Certainly did not lose money on them either.

Did replace them with some Spendor BC-3's though which are sublime..
