Hey everyone,
I tried this is the Pioneer thread but it didn't get very far. So last attempt before I throw in the towel I think...
I have a Pioneer PL-530 and lately the speed will not stay a stable. It seems to bounce back an fourth. I have used DeOxit on the speed control pots and the 33/45 switches, but that has produced no change.
Is this something a Newby could learn how to fix himself, or should I start looking for my next turntable. I don't think its in good enough condition to spend the money to have it professionally serviced over in Cambridge.
