I saw the original ad for these posted on CL this morning 7/29/12 around 8:30am for $50.00. Being 75 miles away I didn't even try to contact seller because I knew they'd be gone before I could get there. Reposted by a flipper at 1:10pm on 7/29/12 for $250.00 How's that for speed greed?

It was a Sansui AU717 and TU217 for sale at $250 - I posted that ad in a Champana thread in D&S to a local resident looking for a Sherwood 7100A, sorry to see that someone got it, maybe the OP in that thread?

Didn't know about any ad prior that was for $50.

However, once its sold, the new owner has every right to do what they want with it. If they make a quick profit, well, that's capitalism.

Who wouldn't do that if someone can make $200 profit in something that they don't have to have?
He paid asking price and after that, it doesn't matter what he does with it. He can throw it in a fire or sale it for a profit.

I agree though,it seems like buying something on CL and flipping it on CL is just a little "wrong". But it just seems that way.If someone did it on the bay you wouldn't even notice. .
