Speed help! Transrotor Leonard and konstant power supply

Heya Team!!

Need some help! Can't get this guy to spin slower then 37. New belts, but sizing might be little off, old belt had similar issues but would slip and slow right down, so very hard to judge. Can't seem to dial it in no matter what, any tips would be appreciated. There's some asjustment in the power supply but it's really touchy and doesn't seem to impact speed. Also, has a tendency to shock me on occasion. Good times.

German brand / model and they can't be bothered to right me back. Total pain in the butt.

Hi, As it's an AC supplied frequency & the controls on the P/S are not working. As far as I know there is nothing simple you can do to correct it, unless you can find a electronics service man. You can get P.S. that allows you to adjust the line frequency, which changes the speed, like NSC used for upgrading/adjusting Lenco T/T's. There are others on the market but they tend to be very costly. There are frequency converters available say for hobby lathes for around $100 to 200, but the ones I've tried work, but in audio systems just add unacceptable to noise into the system.
If all else fails, then change the motor to a 12 to 24 VDC unit, Then a simple DC electronic voltage adjuster, $5 from E/Bay will do the job. Not the last word in voltage control, but a platter with that much mass will smooth out the rotation.
