Spendor FL 8

[Michael F]

They appear to be related to the S8 and S8e but I cant seem to find any information on that model, are they that obscure?
Can someone shed some light?
TIA

LISTENING

Spendor is well known for his monitor speakers (BBC).
Here there is a column 90 cm high. The box shows a rigidity and unusual neutrality reinforced by cleats and bituminous thick plates.

It is distinguished by high accuracy of stamps: each instrument, each agreement is expressed with its own color. Restitution, slightly saline, however, is very balanced and very transparent.
Very nice stereo scene, accurate and free from the frame of the speaker.

Price: 15000 FF pair (1998).

Thanks Mikey, it`s hard to believe there is nothing else on the Net. I guess the FL series was not very popular.
Any experiences?

I went ahead and purchased the pair that came up for sale and I`m glad that I did, it`s a wonderful sounding speaker! I managed to get this brochure from Spendor.
