splitting signal from pre out to amp and back to main in on reciever

Hello friends. I have older kenwood kr-8010 reciever with pre out and in. I have searched the forums and found its okay to split the signal to my amps. But my question is can I run the other side of the y splitter back into my reciever to use that amp as well?

Or should I just use the reciever as a pre amp only.

My System

kenwood kr 8010 125wpc
Adcom gfa 555 × two
cerwin vega E-15
JBL GHE 1200v
JBL L3

I found plenty on splitting the pre signal from reciever. but nothing on running back into reciever.

Yes you can split the pre out and send it to a another amp and then back to the amp in the receiver
