I wish I was going to St. Louis this weekend, but I have other deals brewing in Chicago. Still, this thread has me wondering if I could get away with skipping work tomorrow and taking a quick road trip... :)

Wow, I haven't checked SPI CL the past few days, I missed those. That's my neck of the woods.

Those Carvers sound interesting, but I'm interested in these Boston Acoustics A-150 and A-100s in Chi. Should I pass up on the BAs for the Carvers?

I bagged one deal this weekend on some BA A150s. Working on a bigger deal, but no details yet. It's not like a tube Mac setup for $10 at a garage sale, but it's a pretty sweet deal.
 
Crotalus, Junior and I went to see them this morning. The cabs are in good shape, woogers refoamed, 8" mids still need to be done. Fake black slate tops, over 100 lbs, but they do deliver some good sounds.

The owner wants them gone, so it would be worth picking them up at that price, IMO.
