Gotta say I would be very curious to hear these in person. I have a pair of mirror-imaged DQ 10s with the updated Regnar crossovers, and they have superb imaging qualities and just enough bass with a Carver M4.0t amp. With updated parts in these two pairs, I don't think the price is out of line for what you are getting in SQ.

My bud has a pair. They are big imposing speakers that will fill a room with sound. I agree that price is fair.

What i expected..1200-1500
$300 each
Good deal
I dont know the gains vs just one pair
But
In a huge room i suppose itd be really cool and not very expensive for the sound quality

It looks like this pair is still sitting on the original stand, with the brackets adding another 4" of ground contact; I've seen other brackets that have ground contact more like 18". I'd worry that this particular stand makes these top-heavy and liable to topple forward. It wouldn't be to hard to add a longer foot and a triangular brace to stabilize the whole thing. Ideally, it should be rock-solid.
