Stacking OLAs w/Different Cabinets?

I'm planning on stacking Original Large Advents eventually--hopefully sooner rather than later. I already own the model with the utility cabinets. Does it matter if I stack that version with the beveled or bullnose OLAs? Is there a difference in sound or just looks? Also, are the beveled and bullnose versions the same thing or are they actually a different cabinet?

The beveled and bullnose versions are from two different generations but sound quite similar. The beveled version contains a woofer with the Masonite surround. The bullnose version has a stamped steel basket and surround. It’s my opinion that either version will play just fine with your OLA utilities. I ran stacked OLAs for years as my only speakers with great satisfaction. Then the latent collector in my DNA took over (but I learned a lot).

Thanks! That's helpful in more ways than one. I've been confusing the bullnose with the beveled edge for quite some time now. Thanks again.

Just remember that "beveled" means at an angle and "bullnose" means rounded like a bull's nose.

And you can stack the veneered version with the utilities with no problem. They sound the same. The walnut veneered version just looks fancier.
