Stacking Smaller Advents

Hi All..

IIRC, when stacking speakers, they are wired in parallel. The SA's are 4 ohms, and stacked, they'd present a 2 ohm load to my Yammy 2020.

Wired in series for an 8 ohm load, it looks to me that the speakers on each leg would be out of phase with each other...or am I missing something ??

cryptic enough? how about:

amp positive post to 1st advent positive post. then 1st advent negative post to 2nd advent positive post. then 2nd advent negative post back to the amp negative post. repeat for the other channel.

Well, that's putting them in series, giving 8 ohms per channel. However, wouldn't one woofer in the string be pushing (cone moving out) and the other woofer pulling ( cone moving in).. same with the other channel.

Guess that's called being out of phase with each other.:scratch2:
'Course, I could just hook 2 together and see how it sounds
