I once had an older 681EEE and I really liked its sound, I thought it was a very smooth sounding cartridge with slightly mellow highs. Recently, I ran across a Stanton 681EEE with a stylus marked 68 EEE.S. I might purchase it. Does anyone know what type stylus this is?

The EEE-S stylus is the best stylus made for the 681 series cartridges. I switched from the EEE to the EEE-S in the late 70s and was glad I did.
