Ok... So I am about to ask this question and I understand the ramifications of what I am asking... Do you, in your opinion, believe that this cart is deserving of a $167 stylus? I am completely unfamiliar with this cart so all I have at this point is recommendations to go on.

I guess it depends on the type of equipment that you have, and the music that you like.

I have an 881s in my Pioneer PL-L 1000 TT, and it's one of the best sounding carts that I have.

When my stylus goes, I'll be ordering a Jico.

I have a stanton 881s and a pickering xsv4000 and can say they are great cartridges. I have also bought a couple of the ed saunders stylus. the Ed saunders stylus was recently the topic of a heated thread so I will leave it at , I would not recomend the ed saunders stylus for the stanton cartridge.
I have a jico stylus for the shure m97xe and can say it was worth every penny, jico makes an amazing product, I am sure the stanton offering will sound great. go for the jico!
