Started in 1988

I started putting my system together in 1988. Last year I finally made the rack for it

starting at the top:

Technics SL-23 turntable
Sumo Athena preamplifier
Sumo Aurora tuner
dbx 120X-DS subharmonic synthesizer
dbx 3BX Range Expander
ADC V-800X Video Sound Shaper / Visual Processor - Dolby Surround
ADC Sound Shaper SS-315X
Yamaha K-340 cassette
dbx 832 CD
AC Infinity CLOUDPLATE T7
Sumo Andromeda power amplifier

Magnepan MG-I speakers ( I had them re-skinned in 1999 and upgraded)

My system is in the front of our home theater. The black speakers are Definitive's and part of the 9.3 surround system.

After my first tour overseas the shippers decided to help themselves to half of my stuff including my vinyl collection. I have replaced just about everything expect for the reel to reel which I still need.

The Army contracts with German shipping company's and as I diligently watched them pack everything these guys apparently saw things they like. So when I got back to the states crate 1 of 2 arrived but 2 of 2 never did As for the black speakers parts of them are in the photos, so I noted them as they are not part of the system.

I completely agree! I just hope my son comes to feel the same way. He and I think most of his friends all in their early 20's could careless about component stereo equipment.
