I' ve just picked up a pair of Stax Lambda Nova Signatures with and SRD-7 Professional energizer, and the Stax extension. The SRD-7 is mint perfect in original box, and the Lambda's and cable are in perfect condition as well, and I have the manuals too. Paid $150 for everything. Was this a good deal?

Great deal for sure but either I'm losing it lol or his original post was asking how much are they worth hence the moving of this thread to $&s forum.

Perhaps my original post (I know now that it was in the wrong section) was misleading. These are my first experience with Stax and I only wanted to know their value so I would know if it was a good deal. Really not intending to break any rules or upset anyone.

when I saw those on cl yesterday I was thinking it was a pretty good deal. don't like things on or in my ears so didn't bother pursuing
 
I would think if you were wanting to flip this, you could probably get at least 7 bills for it, and possibly more.
 
Interesting that these were listed on another audio forum for a bit more than elrod said they were worth earlier today.

They were in fact mine. Actually listed about 8-10 hours before elrod's post. I guessed at the number which apparently may have been a good guess, but I have since closed that post once I got them home and gave them a really good listen. Keeping these, my RS-1's and maybe the HD650's and thinning out the rest... maybe. This can be a costly hobby for someone leaning in the direction of OCD, so it is nice to know I got a good deal.
 
Keep listening to them for awhile, you'll be glad you kept them. Headphones aren't everyone's cup of Joe, but man, if your in the mood for them they're great. Just be careful - there easy to crank up too loud!
 
Although I don't use headphones much, I would be tempted to keep a set of electrostatics 'cans?' because I really liked the ESP-6s I used to use occasionally. They were a special listening experience, other than the massive weight of these.
