Steam Cleaning & Drying Vinyl; Which Steamer & Which Shop Vac?

[DaveyW]

Once I saw how DaveyW did it, I knew that I didn't need and expensive RCM.

I've been doing it this way for about a year or so.

Excellent! :thmbsp:

Someone mentioned Steam and Vac earlier. Maybe something like this might work with a mod to the nozzle? :scratch2:

The shop vac I will repurpose in my DIY RCM which I will build later in the summer. I have a couple of cheapo broken tts not worth a rehab and will us one as the cleaning base.

Thanks for the help, especially to DaveyW . . . You helped me feel like I am on the right path for me.

That was my main reason for posting :thmbsp:
Hope it all works out

If you have an ALDI store near you, excellent steam cleaner with 2-year guarantee is on sale there this week only for $19.99. I am very happy using this one with some pretty valuable vinyl. It raises the listenability a pretty far piece with distilled water.
