I located an 8 cell horn speaker at a yard sale with the name Stephens Tru-Sonic, model 216. The speaker is quite large and heavy, about 18 lbs and the horn alone is 7" x 14". I've looked online for this model and only located a pair on Worthpoint that sold on eBay. I've included that picture with this entry. The speaker I purchased has broken plastic where the speaker's wires should be. The speaker's wires are broken at the metal cone, but there appears to be enough remaining to solder new wires.

Can anyone shed some light into the value of these. All the vintage Tru-Sonic horn speakers that I've seen online seem to command several hundred dollars each, but I haven't been able to price these.

Thanks for responding...the speaker I purchased needs paint, or a good strip to bare metal, but that's the easy part!

Anything that says Stephens Tru-Sonic on it brings a fortune for some reason. Those look cool.
 
Wow! I bought this one for $1.00...$600 could convince me to part ways with it and put a down payment in that vintage tube amp...
 
Yes, according to the ad, it is an 824H multicellular horn. It's nice to know the correct terminology for this driver assembly!
