Stereo indicator light on Marantz 2220B

Hi I had posted this question in the general receiver form but I think it's better suited here. I tried to move it but couldn't figure it out.

I recently replaced the lights on my 2220B and all went well but the Stereo indicator light is very week. I took some reading and it looks like at it's strongest I'm getting 3.4 volts but I should being around 7.4. I'm fairly sure the signal strength is good so just wondering if anything can help with strep on diagnosing the problem.

thanks

Guys, Thanks you for the help. I just looked over the schematic and I see j814, then looked and found it on the board. It's on the front right side of the unit near the teo? So when I take my reading what other connection do I use to the voltage reading? Sorry, I'm still learning here.

Also the light kit came from Bob @ www.vintage-electronics.net. He offered to send a replacement light but all the other lights he sent were good to go so before I bother changing out I might as well check the voltage.

When the stereo lights on I'm getting 9.7 and when it's not on I'm getting 10.6 That seems odd to me as I was thinking the readings would be the other way. . .or is that due to the draw on j814.

OK, I'll give it a go when I get home from work. I didn't think to check this light before I pulled it out with the other ones that were not working.

Well it looks like we are back on the bight side of street. Got the replacement light from Bob in the mail box and gave it a try without issue.

thanks PeterHall347 and others for the help!
