Sterling by Utah

I recently picked up a pair of Sterling SE-410 speakers. Apparently, these were OEM'ed by Utah for Sterling Electronics.

The cabs are in dire need of refinishing and some of the front trim could use some work, but the drivers and grills are in good shape.

Here's my question:

The 12" woofers are Utah (328201) model 5812317. Paper cones, treated accordion surrounds. Does anyone recognize this model number? Are these worth a recap and refinish?

Looks like an alnico magnet on that woofer...might have decent efficiency and good tone. What do they sound like?
