"We don't need no Stinking Badges"! LOL

This is no doubt been discussed in some manner here. And many of us vintage audio nerds find equipment missing such items which make the particular unit incomplete.

Case in point, I have a mint Denon Turntable, DP-2550, and the Dustcover is missing it's tiny Denon Decal. I've searched and exhausted all avenues to find such. Such is not available anywhere I've found.

So then what? A custom vendor-maker of such? Where? This small decal must measure 17mm x 8mm if that. Small, Black background, Silver writing I believe. Not much different in size of the push switch decals on Receivers like the Sansui 6, 7, 8. 8Dlx, 7000-etc.

At 5:33 you can see this Decal I speak about that's missing.

Well any piece of Mcintosh gear that was checked for me by Davie O'Brien or my God brother Tommy Howell when he worked for Mcintosh has a sticker on the unit with the date. Anything bought from Audio Classics has a sticker also.

Approach one of the sticker reproducers selling on the bay and maybe you can buy the first one.

Sometimes they are needed, others, not so much. I’ve had 6 DQ-10s here, never seen an emblem on them and don't care. But wanted the a/d/s/ emblems on the 1590/2.

If there is a spot for that Denon sticker, hope you can find one and then be able to get a good night’s sleep.

Presumably the OP did a Google search for "Denon badge"" That search term seems to generate a lot of hits.

I bought some reproduction emblems from an Ebay seller for my ESS amt 1a speakers. They look good.
His ebay is 'audiotagiowa" He makes a lot of different badges and can probably make what you need.

MY MC830's looked a bit to plain Jane for me so I had Steve add two Mcintosh labels to the units. I guess Mac liked the look because they did the same thing to their MC1502 150 watt per channel stereo tube amp. By the way if you are looking for an amp that puts out very close to 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms and won't break your back lifting the unit the MC 830 is a great choice. With its higher damping factor is controls sloppy woofers better than amps with transformers or autoformers. Especially when bi amping with the passive crossover section bypassed feeding the woofer or woofers. But you should really
use an electronic crossover.

I've bought several repop badges on ebay. All of them look like the original.
I even bought a pair of 3D printed raised Realistic badges for a pair of speakers.
