I LOVE mine, I know it is no QL7, but it still impresses me every day, and has a great synergy with my Shure V15 IV cart. Listening to Nick Drake on it as I write this, and it is like he is in the room with me. I am curious as to what, if any, mods you have done to it apart from the custom color plinth.

Looking good John. The big question is "What's Spinning there"? :scratch2:

and do you always keep your toothbrush on the TT :)

Beautiful JVC DD. Appears to be manual and has the separate motor unit. You could replinth it easily if desired if this JVC/Victor model is what I think it is. And it is an excellent performer stock. Replinthed, could also accommodate wide tonearm choices if you ever wished to.

Hi, I was spinning a Tesla record. The tooth brush is to clean the record brush off..LOL Old tooth brushes come in handy for a lot of uses..:thmbsp:

I need to replace the dust cover, this one has a crack on the top.

Thanks,
Keep spinning!
John.:music::D

I did a custom repair and paint on this one, total recap too! I may upgrade the tonearm one day!

Thanks,
John:music::D

I am curious on what caps you used, and how much of a change did you notice? Mine looks new inside, but a recap could probably help. I was also contemplating an arm upgrade eventually.

I will probably pick your brain again in the future as there doesn't seem to be many QL-5 owners on here.

Cheers!
