STK amplifier modules.

Hi! Has anyone here ever seen a list of which(If any) STK modules are interchangeable? I have an 80s Technics receiver. One channel is out and I believe it is one of the STK 8040s. I know new modules are fake and unreliable. Wondering if there are other modules that might go right in without modifications if I were to find a used pair. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. I’m not ready to throw it out and I’m open to creative solutions.

The datasheet(s) will tell you what you need to know. But you have to be sure of what the original module is. Take it out and clean the compound off of it. You'll see numbers stamped on the heat spreader.
