I've started this project with a schematic, parts and a aluminum plate. The circuit board was a step that I thought I'd skip and just do point to point wiring. Mostly, I just wanted to see if I could do this. Here is my creation...

I've connected it to a JVC JA-S44 integrated amp which uses the STK0050 packs. The amp works fine until I connect my project board. The dim bulb goes bright, pull it out and everything is fine. I've checked and rechecked everything and I can't find a short. All the transistors are isolated from the aluminum plate. I don't see a short anywhere. I did start pulling the black wires, one by one from the amp. until the dim bulb went dim and it did, but the resistor on the top started smoking.
Q4 was listed in the schematic as NJW3281 Which is not available through digikey, but they offer a sub NJW0281. I used the sub, but I don't know in this case if it's OK to use
I know this looks like a mess. It's my first attempt to build it with no guide, just the schematic
Anyone willing to help me get this working? Schematic is attached
