Stolen Valor

[Sovereign]

In the past, I worked with a guy (old man) who constantly told people he was a Navy UDT (seal) diver. Another one of my coworkers who was a veteran like me did some research and quickly found out this person was a fraud. If you hear someone boasting about/wearing medals and you beleive this to be a fraud I urge you to report it.. http://www.reportstolenvalor.org/

Fox did a nice story on AMVETS Stolen Honor http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,579336,00.html

I just find it sad and disgusting that someone would sink so low as too impersonate a true hero and after reading the article felt that it should be shared. Please don't read any political agenda into this because there is none.

I think the punishment for doing that should be six weeks at Marine boot camp.

Anyone claiming to have been in the military or claiming to have been awarded medals when they have not is an affront to those that have served our country.
