Living in southwest Florida is great most of the time but with the approach of Irma things are looking dicey for us in all of Florida and I'm in the mood to crank some tunes after spending the past couple days battening the hatches, grabbing gas and stocking up on food/supplies.I'll probably be moving some albums and gear up to higher ground in our home tonight and tomorrow.

Hopefully, some levity is appreciated. I hope all remain safe and remember things can be replaced. Be careful! To our friends in Texas may your recovery be speedy.

I'm digging through my lp's for appropriate music and have a couple to get started but what have you got???

"Riders on the Storm" The Doors is going on first followed by REO Speedwagon "Ridin' the Storm Out"

Creedence.. Bad Moon Rising

"
I see the bad moon arising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

I hear hurricanes blowing
I know the end is coming soon
I fear rivers over flowing
I hear the voice of raze and ruin

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

All right

Hope you got your things together
Hope you are quite prepared to die
Looks like we're in for nasty weather
One eye is taken for an eye

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise"
