STR Omega 11's

Hi,

As you can see by my join date I'm new to this.

I just picked up a set of STR Omega 11's at an estate sale - TONS of bass even with the woofers rotting out of them. Beautiful cabinets though. Any suggestions at what speakers I could use in a reasonable price range to rebuild them?

I can run them with a Kenwood Model Eleven GX or a Pioneer VSX-9900S (I got the Pioneer at the same sale, along with an Akai GXC-9900D and an ELAC Miracord 45)

As an aside, does anyone know the difference between the Kenwood Model Eleven G and Model GX?

Check this site for information on refoaming your woofers. If they are in good sahape this is your best and cheapest option.
