Stopped at a Goodwill I haven't been to in a few months yesterday noon on my way back from an appointment. I found this home made plywood box with 8 horns in it, two fuse holders and a 1/4" jack on the back. I paid above my typical "Strike Price" and had no way to test it but I figured that at least two (2) of the horns were marked EV so I took a chance. I pulled the drivers out when I got home to discover:
Two (2) 1824M with Peavey plastic?? horns.
Two (2) ST350A
Two (2) T350
and two (2) that appear to be T35's but the rears are covered with white corrosion and the only markings are 824 7574 735 on the horn.
Best part is they all checked out between 5.8 and 7.8 ohms with a meter
(maybe my 1st use of the dancing banana!!)
Now I have to figure out what to build with them.
Anyone know anything about the Peavey Horn?? No part #, just Peavey and Made in USA.
