Strange effect - Amplifier power on/off

Hi all,

I've noticed a strange effect when I turn on/off my amplifier. Recently I've had my computer monitor (sitting next to the amp) connected to the same power board as my amp, and when I turn on or off monitor will go black for a few seconds - like it's lost single or power.

Anyone know the cause or has seen this before?

start with the power board and whatever it plugs into to get power .
