Strange occurence

It is supposed to be a well known that if somebody dies in a dream they die in real life if they don't wake up. Of course all this is based off of speculation and study.
Something odd happened in a dream I had.
Not only did I die in the dream, I knew I was going to and welcomed it(of course I don't want to die, but this was wierd).
The way it worked out was that I had a nightmare within the dream where I saw how I was going to die and what was going to happen when I died. Well, I oddly prepared for death the day before by sending all my audio equipment to friends and family(wierd stuff)
Then i got onto the airplane I saw in the nightmare within a nightmare and right before we crashed into the ground, I said goodbye to everyone on the plane. After that, it was somewhat euphoric and I felt as if I didn't want to wake up, but then I awoke with the ringing of my phone, it was the fella that was in the seat next to me in my dream(customer I fix computers for).

Has anyone ever had anything like this happen in a dream?

I had a dream that I was touching myself in an inappropriate manner. Woke up and did so. That was fun. Then, the weird part. I did it again.

It is me. I have been locked in a struggle with my beard. I lost, so I finally cut the danged thing off and now I'm moving from NC to MI - this Friday. I have no excuse, I've just been out of my mind for awhile. I think I may be back now. Possibly.

Your scaring me Alexkerhead. I had a similar dream except it was kind of like a premonitional dream. In the dream I was celebrating a promotion I got at work and I was drunk and stepped out in front of a car and I was killed. I knew in the dream it was August 22 1981 and I would be 28 years old when it would happen. Everything that led up to the accident happened like in the dream. I got promoted to shift foreman on August 16th.when I was 28. I accepted the promotion and gave up drinking and made sure I did not leave the house from the 26th through the 30th of August. Needless to say, I didn't get hit by a car and I didn't die (I hope). I was hurt at work with a back injury shortly after that and ended up unable to work there anymore and lost the job, and found other jobs for a while but eneded up unable to work and on disablity up until the present./ Be careful>

I've had many dreams where I've died. It was scary when I was younger but not so bad any more. What really sucks though is the sleep paralysis.

Where do you get this? Nightmare on Elm Street was a movie, dude. Pure fiction.

Dreams are just the mind freewheeling. Anything can happen that you can imagine.

Deli, now that PICTURE you posted is seriously disturbing. I think I need to consider changing my "handle" here, after seeing that... just in case!

[In my dream though, only Michael's employees were weird... Michael himself gave me an apartment full of cool audio gear, just because I didn't hassle him or disturb him like other people did! I don't want to know what Freud would have said about that... ]

What really sucks though is the sleep paralysis.

Is that where you're lying there completely aware like you're awake, but still asleep, and clearly not dreaming but conscious of the fact that you're asleep, and unable to move or wake up completely. It's like your body is asleep, but your mind is awake. If that's what your talking about I get that sometimes.
