I grew up in the late sixties. I mean that's when I got my drivers license. Every weekend the roads were turned into a dragstrip. No kidding! "Street Outlaws" are pretty close to what I remember. It was a true "down and out" free for all and I could probably write a book about what I witnessed. Ya'll probably wouldn't believe it. Great show on T.V. Check it out! ...

I use to street race in the late 60's early 70's. We had a blast when we where younger hanging around A&W root beer and getting called out to race. I watch Street Outlaws always. Brings back memories.:thmbsp:

Back then there was only two cops in town with cars so they couldn't be every where. Great times for sure.

Cruising and weekend drags

Yup, I too grew up in the era of cruising the main street in Bakersfield, CA. , then going out with hundreds of people to the outskirts of town to drag race till' the wee hours. Those were the days. I love Street Outlaws. Killer ! :yes:
