Strobe light replacement

I would like to replace the standard, neon lamp used for turntable strobe with LED and I wonder if someone has done something like that. My plan is to purchase LED based strobe light gadget (https://www.tindie.com/products/bot_thoughts/turntable-strobe/ and wired it to internal power supply and install it in place of neon light. I'm not sure if the above LED light is designed to handle continuous operation though. Any other ideas?
