One of the 4 pins in the tonearm is pushed in, and I am subsequently getting sound out of only one speaker. Is there a simple solution to this that actually works? Or should I take it in for repairs?
I can remove the headshell and see the pins, but there is no easy way to "grab" the stuck-in pin with anything. Has anyone had success using something like deoxit contact cleaner to get it unstuck?
I had success by pushing the pin in a little bit to expose the shaft that the pins enter, then applied some contact cleaner to the area and used a small pin to wiggle the tonearm pin a bit, and it popped out! Works fine now.
