I'm building up to a mid-life crisis. Maybe I'm knee deep into one .....

Plus a speaker selector to switch receivers between speakers - currently the Marantz and Sansui on top are hooked up. The others are just adult night lights for now :-)

Very nice. I just picked up a Pioneer SX-424 and it has a speaker plug configuration that I've never seen before. I've looked around and see that Pioneer still offers them and there are a few DIY solutions. Mind if I ask what you are using?

Hey - There is a funky plug that the speaker wires attach to then the plugs into the speaker sockets. Definitely a pain if you don't have them. I am fortunate to have a few and I actually like then. Here is a link to a previous AK thread on the plugs. You can find them on EBAY but they are spendy or there are other alternative solutions. Hope this helps and thanks for the comments!

Most of the stuff "I never had as a Kid", I really didn't know about until 20-25 yrs ago...I didn't find out about R-390As til around 1994 or so..First thing led to another, & somehow I got the "Love Light" for old TVs, that led me here, & I started connecting with my "Inner Boatanchor...I have what I consider a "Decent" system, Yammy RXV-!, 4 WSC 1As, a BUNCH of "Satellite" speakers, a Klipsch "Center speaker, an H/K recordable CD deck, a Yammy Cassette, & an RCA TT-Yeah, I know...They're Shite-But SOMEDAY I'll have a REAL TT...

Nice gear! I've picked up almost all of my gear at Goodwill so I take what I can get or want. Not many TTs show up in good condition so I do with what I have. I'm waiting for the MINT Marantz 6300 in the box at Goodwill for $10. That's my grail TT.
