Hello its been awhile since i last posted... so i have been cleaning and doing little fix ups on my Sansui AU D907F Extra and need a bit of help on how to remove the knobs (really stupid question) the volume knob came out easy since it used a 1.5mm hex but the other knobs have no set screw or anything? By the way this model is exactly the same as the D11 but with some minor changes
here is a picture of of what the knobs look like...(not my picture credit goes out to scottrt who did an amazing job restoring his D11)

Thanks

They should just pull off - they are quite stiff. (unless some idiot has glued them on - not unknown )

A trick I've used to get off hard to remove knobs is to use two spoons on either side of the knob (maybe with some cloth behind it to prevent scratching the face) and slowly and gently apply pressure. It might not work on these if they're recessed, which it appears they might be.

It looks like the faceplate fits around the knobs, in which case you might be able to remove the faceplate before removing the knobs. Then you'd have access to do the spoon thing.

just got the knobs off they were quite hard but eventually came off thanks for the help everyone :thmbsp:
